"Fake news" is part of the press as well. Either they're free to publish stories that whichever fuckwit the morons in your country elected doesn't like, or they're not a free press.
It's a pretty simple concept, I'd have thought.

That's the problem with fake news. You get to the point where you don't know what the real news is and what is fake. If people are relying on a media representative to get the news, if you don't know what's real and what's fake, what's the point?

No, that's the problem with a government's leader complaining about fake news and dismissing any stories that fail to portray him in a positive light as biased partisan spin the other side have invented to make him look bad. The fact that this approach is so popular with political leaders who control some, but not quite all, of their country's media (Berlusconi was very fond of this approach, and Putin currently employs a minister whose job is pretty much to devalue the media and deny it any semblance of credibility by stuffing it outrageous and absurd nonsense) is something that worries a lot of people at the moment.

Every country deports people. I know it might be a shocker because during the Obama administration Deportations where at an all time low and many of the border agencies saw massive cuts to their budgets so they couldn't actually deport people if they wanted to. But the reality of it is that Nations screen illegal immigrants all the time and deport them accordingly. Any nation that cannot do that is not considered a Sovereign State by the United Nations.

Actually, Obama's deportations outpaced Bush 43's. Bush 43 had just over 2M deportations. Obama crossed 2M in 6 years.

http://cis.org/ICE-deportations-hit-10-yr-low

How is it that Obama's deportations "were at an all-time low?"

Because the during his tenure, the definitions where intentionally changed so that the illusion that he was doing more was actually produced. Individuals whom where caught at the border, processed, and simply turned away where now technically 'Deportations'. This produced a sharp rise in the number of annual deportations, while not actually doing much from an immigration stand point.

Further more, While it has been intentionally hard to prove - it is largely believed that a majority of the 11.3 Million illegal immigrants that live in the US do so on Expired Work Visas, in effect 'overstaying' their allowed time. And deportations of that category of individuals according to ICE has dropped by ~40% since Obama took office.

What results is the illusion that he has been deporting massive volumes of illegal immigrants, more so then any other president recently, but at the same time doing less against the illegal immigrant problem then any other president in office.

In fact, if you read the fiscal reports from the DHS -
https://www.dhs.gov/news/2016/12/30/dhs-releases-end-year-fiscal-year-2016-statistics

It becomes clear that the general focus involves Customs Border Patrol (CBP) US Border Patrol (USBP) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detaining and deporting individuals At or Near the borders rather rooting out expired visa holders or individuals that entered the country legally and then stay here illegally.

Please show when this was not both technically and actually deportation.

This is what is clear from your cite:

. In FY 2016, 98 percent of initial enforcement actions – a set of actions that includes USBP apprehensions, OFO determinations of inadmissibility, and ICE administrative arrests – involved individuals classified within one of the three enforcement priority categories. Ninety-one percent were among the top priority (Priority 1), which includes national security threats, individuals apprehended at the border while attempting to enter unlawfully, and the most serious categories of convicted criminals as well as gang members.

Only a moron would believe that interdictrion of priority 1 criminals was less important than arresting dumb don's wife? While dumb don's wife criminally and illegally worked without ther proper documentation she was not a priority 1 criminal.
Jesus you are phoquing stupid.

Gagging the Free Press? Possibly. Or, if all they're doing is putting out fake news and hit pieces, silencing fake news isn't gagging the Free Press.

Only in the mind of a moron.

The part that i underlined in what you cited.

Under Obama's Tenure
the DHS defines it as thus:

https://www.dhs.gov/sites/default/files/publications/14_1120_memo_prosecutorial_discretion.pdf

Priority 1 (threats to national security, border security, and public safety)
Aliens described in this priority represent the highest priority to which
enforcement resources should be directed:

(a) aliens engaged in or suspected of terrorism or espionage, or who
otherwise pose a danger to national security;

(b) aliens apprehended at the border or ports of entry while attempting to
unlawfully enter the United States;

(c) aliens convicted of an offense for which an element was active
participation in a criminal street gang, as defined in 18 U.S.C. § 52 l(a), or
aliens not younger than 16 years of age who intentionally participated in
an organized criminal gang to further the illegal activity of the gang;

(d) aliens convicted of an offense classified as a felony in the convicting
jurisdiction, other than a state or local offense for which an essential
element was the alien's immigration status; and

(e) aliens convicted of an "aggravated felony," as that term is defined in
section 101(a)(43) of the Immigration and Nationality Act at the time of
the conviction.

So basically - Every one caught at the Border is a 'Priority 1' case.
Ironic isn't it?

This change in language was introduced During the Obama administration, between 2010 and 2014... and has again, distorted the facts as before then Individuals caught at the border where "Not a Priority". This is why if you look up the 'deportation via priority' over obama's presidency you notice this weird and oddly drastic shift between the two fields...

What your data shows is that the articulate liar with the big ears focused on priority 1 individuals.
Your data defines priority 1 individuals as those who pose the greatest danger to national security and public safety.
Why are you against that?
Why would you prefer to go after those like dumb don's wife who are a low risk to public safety and national security?

your President , is gagging the Free Press, deporting people, making promises, reading History, sounds exactly like a dictator, what will he do next, rather glad I am not there.

Is someone gagging the free press? How does one accomplish this?

Reporters in jail? Ministry of truth approving stories prior to their publication? Reporters just disappearing?

I was thinking more along the lines of a genuine fascistic or a genuine totalitarian regime.

If you blow your load at a few mean words directed at a disingenuous press, you'll be caught trying to reload when something genuinely totalitarian happens.

They call it "crying wolf" because of the damage to the boy's credibility, not because of the presence or absence of a wolf.

ive indeed thought similarly (chicken little as opposed to the boy who cried wolf) and what you've pointed out seems to be leftie phenomena all over the threads doesn't it?

that's one reason why this little guy has been appearing more frequently than in the past.

yet if trump is being compared to hitler and he's bent on abrogating the 1st amendment, my love of fiction compels to me see the lefties seeing him also as voldemort and taking over the ministry of magic. laughs...

How do you know what the data shows? you are obviously uneducated and borderline incompetent.

Let me pose this question to you, if you think you can answer it...

Did the 9/11 bombers come across the border?
How about the Boston Bombers?
San Bernideno Shooters?

You're going to tell me that people who risk their lives to swim across a river and hike across a desert just to get a minimum wage job are a bigger threat then poorly screened Visa holders which have consistently produced Terrorists which attack American Citizens?

That illegal day laborers content with few bucks an hour are as big a threat to the US as Suicide Bombers?

Obama modified the Priority 1 list.
His administration made it so that Border Crossers where labelled as the same as Terrorists...
Only because he wanted to have a 91% "Deportation of Priority 1 Illegals" as if he was going for the high score.

That would be your ignorant unsubstantiated opinion which is worth a little less thanj the price of used shit paper.

Let me pose this question to you, if you think you can answer it...

Did the 9/11 bombers come across the border?

Yes.

How about the Boston Bombers?

Yes

San Bernideno Shooters?

The san bernardino shooters also came across the boarder.

You're going to tell me that people who risk their lives to swim across a river and hike across a desert just to get a minimum wage job are a bigger threat then poorly screened Visa holders which have consistently produced Terrorists which attack American Citizens?

Nope I did not say that you said that. What I said is that your post show that the emphasis is on level one threats.
That you don't think that level one threats should be prioriotized is not my problem it is yours.
