Must be My turn; Still an Artist, Still in Transition, looking for My live/ work studio where I can paint, photograph, and readily torment My subject. Currently in a house share as part of care for special needs kid so that's a wrench in the play date works. SO many seemingly useful subjects here in California, not making meeting .. when so many so far away look tasty too!. Started up on Twitch: Creative. Here's hoping MARCH 2017 really brings the helpful bodies and the fun too~ Always the Lady ~ Always Wikked

Doing okay so far, just doing physical therapy on my left shoulder for AC DJD (google it). Getting ready to break ground on 2 flower spots so the bees can have a wide selection to choose from, receive more hives and get my knee treated for a nasty Baker's cyst. Mom is having cataract surgeries on the 8th and 14th and hopefully she will be able to drive at night. Been crocheting up a storm, experimenting with different blends of yarn. Should also receive some news on the daughter front about mid-March. Also playing Runescape like crazy...been getting stressed out since a certain cheeto took residence in D.C.

Hi all! This isn't my first account on CS, I just deleted the old one when the boy and I were fully monogamous. It's nice to be back! Things are continuing apace, for the moment. The 9-5 is grinding my gears a bit, I'd love something more stimulating/challenging, but I did just get an adjustment to my job title/pay level to reflect the work that I'm doing, so that's a nice feeling. The boy and I are officially house hunting, and have just booked a two week trip to Italy in early May, something he's always wanted to do. That should be a really good time - mostly the countryside, Umbria, but at least a night or two in Rome as well. On the down side, I'm struggling quite a bit with my depression, but sticking with my treatments and taking each day as it comes. There's a lot of good in my life, that I try to focus on. I'm so glad these check in threads are still a thing. They're a great way to feel a little more connected. Thanks for starting this one, Ambyant!

Spring is in the air here. We just had the warmest Feb on record. March is looking to be warm as well. Temperatures should be in the 60's this week here in Northern Kentucky. That is warm enough to open up the wood shop. I need to put the finishing touches on a nice solid oak Catherines Wheel. I think a Micheal's Cherry stain will look nice on it. Let that dry before adding padding and straps. Other than that, I have continued my wait loss through the winter. No down officially 100lbs! At this rate I will hit my target somewhere around August. It really feels good to be eating healthy!

I'm around, lurking. 2017 has been rough. I'm having a lot of mental health problems, so I've withdrawn into myself a bit. I'm aroundish- Much love to everyone.

Recovering well from a shitty year of cancer and other surgeries. Enjoying making new friends here, and indulging my creative urges! The upward spiral rocks!!!!!!!!
