ORIGINAL: servantdaniel The Advertisers have deserted you because you are more often offline than online. You seem to think that's why some of the advertisers aren't here anymore, which isn't a correct perception. At least some of the advertisers split from here because they are reaching a wider audience elsewhere. That happened quite a while before the site was having the up again/down again issues that it does now. Fet just plain has more active members and more visibility for ads. quote:
You do not invest sufficient money in staff or website maintenance. What is the point then in maintaining the websites existence. I am one of many thousands who think like this and so am not alone. Do you have any way to verify this statement? One link where these "thousands" of people are stating this view will do. While there are people who are unhappy with the site's performance, there are just as many, (maybe even more so) who have split the site for other reasons. quote:
I am also sure that you come into the website and check things out from time to time. I find this highly unlikely. Anybody who thinks this hasn't paid that much attention over the years. quote:
There are the usual bunch of message board entusiasts that enjoy bullying and harassing others from the behind computer screens. Those that have their own clique of fellow members and resent any outsider expressing views they do not hold. Oh, bullsh^t. I get sick to death of this claim. Look, I'm sorry that people didn't pat you on the head for your so-called "different view". At the same time, it's just as possible that a person was a moron and the fact that they are kinky doesn't supersede that. It's like trying to use the "all-inclusive" mantra when a person walks into a munch and hasn't showered in five days, stinking of BO. quote:
Mr BAKU on fetlife recently took measures to clense his website of negative aspects and changed some policies. Obviously, you haven't been paying much attention. The administration of FetLife removed a lot of content last month in the attempt to appease the CC companies to keep their merchant accounts. It was kind of a rehashing of "The Big Four" but this time, Visa wanted the removal of content about kinks such as blood play, hypnosis, and CnC. You did catch the fact that such content is being restored, right? As for negativity and cliques, depending on the group owner, which is NOT the same as Admin, I guess you haven't noticed that people on Fet aren't especially patting fantasists on the head, either. Spotting groups? Still there. Idiots who get taken down a peg? Still there. Profile Pitfalls? Still there. quote:
That website has never been down in its history unlike collarspace and its predecessor collarme. Bad business people should not be in business and incompetent owners should sell the website to a competent professional who can improve upon it and perhaps, make some money whilst keeping a loyal membership and clients. Stagnation and degeneration are not the answer so sell up and get out. Again, bullsh^t. If you came into my house, trying to tell me that you didn't like how it was decorated, I'd tell you to piss off. If there's so much money to be made, and you have the support of all of these thousands of people, why don't you start your own site? I mean, you have all of the answers. Rather than tell other people what they should do with their business, start your own.
