Most people don't understand the Mod thing.

We used to have a clause when I was chairman of AIRS. Online was just the same as if a person pulled a stunt at a play party. If it wasn't cool to do it in person, you couldn't do it on the group site, either. We had incidents, of course, but not like the comparison where people hide behind the anonymity of the internet. Somebody can help me out with this part. I forget the name for it, but there's supposedly this phenomenon that happens on social sites that's related to the bombardment of data related to stats. (By stats, I mean things that boil down to the numbers on a person's profile. Height, weight, age, etc.) People are far more likely to discount people as potential partners based on those numbers. It's not the same as getting to know people in real life. It happens because of the overwhelming amount of crude data, rather than the personality factor.
