I would go to alt.com and sign yourself up for a silver account, if it interests you.
dont use random links sent to you via people on here.
if you dont wanna be scammed, ignore any sign up for "better service here"
yes its a scam.

No.

I usually recommend 3 sites

https://www.datingkinky.com/ - this site has the least scammers and fake profiles
Collarspace grrrs a bit.
fetlife - gritted teeth..but see i do still :)

Alts own terms and conditions state they can create lying fuk profiles, or send you mail from actual genuine profiles, without the owners being aware
bondage.com anyone still on that one? (alt owns them now & same TOC) and they will phish these sites of additional business for they are a failed model.

Women tend to be fairly rare on all these sites. I am not sure why

Dont pay for any sites - mail tends to dry up after you forked out some cash to read a "fake" email

This is one of those moments where a judicious application of common sense would be in your best interest.

Alt.com used to be a great site. Fifteen years ago, it was the ONLY site. Now, it sucks.

I can't speak too specifically about ALT (except to say that I left its dead carcass years ago), but its sister site (AdultFriendFinder) keeps stripping abilities from non-paying customers, including the ability to interact at all with paying customers. So even if you're willing to shell out money to them, be aware that your contact will be limited to others who also shelled out, even if you get the Gold Super Duper membership.

If an anonymous person online asks you to spend money, they only care about your money.

Ignore them. CollarSpace and FetLife do fine for free.

Oh that is easy.
1. Women don't tend to need to bother with websites to find people to fuck, they generally just have to go outside.
2. Guys on these sites tend to be obnoxious shits or whiny baby-man horn dogs.

Maybe they are, maybe they're not, but I'm sure stef and LadyPact are as fake as a cubic zirconium

If by "fake" you mean "living lives I can only dream about", then yes, you're right.

I have a standard (free) alt.com profile. The lack (well its not zero) Dominate Females with a 200 mi radius from me ....... makes it worth the amount I am paying for it....... Cant hurt to keep it out there even if its just shy of useless......

Actually, I have a different perspective than most that have been shared here. I think it might be a legitimate request.

I have two friends who are Dommes who both ask people to join Alt in order to communicate with them. The reason that they do this is because they believe that there are too many wankers on free sites like FetLife and CollarSpace. Thus, they use Alt as a sort of screening mechanism. The believe that if a person is serious, they should be willing to fork over a little bit of cash to communicate via a pay site. If they aren't willing to do that, then the Dommes simply move on and assume they weren't serious.

I'm not saying that I agree with this practice, but I had to chime in since I know people who actually do this who are NOT trying to scam anyone. In fact, it's quite the opposite; they're trying to keep themselves from being scammed.
