I have always enjoyed the use of cages, with submissive women I have dated. A naked girl in confinement is a great view-very vulnerable. She has no way to hide her nakedness. I always welded up ones with bar spacing too narrow to get the head through-for both safety and escape reasons.

And about a four inch thick foam mattress,covered with Naugahyde. (prevents bruising of a hard surface) Usually held down to a plywood base with glue,and the covering itself stapled down under. Not too small,enough to lie down and not have the feet poke out-but also not tall enough to sit up in. These things vary by how long the confinement will last to avoid things like blood pooling-a very bad thing.

How many of you have either been kept in a cage,or used one on your sub?

What mental aspects did you notice? IE, attitude of the sub.

You might be really interested in the pics that RS had on some threads of the cage he used. I don't know if he'll pop in on the thread but you might see the cage via using the search feature. The cage itself is pretty cool.

It's not one of my kinks, so that's the best contribution I can make.

Ah yes,found it. Box tube and solid bar type. I always to put my door in the end however. Gave my last one to another top when I moved out. No place to put it in the new location. But I have a full metal shop-won't be an issue if I need another.

Yup... everyone have different reasons for enjoyment of a cage. When one understand the reasons... you can at on those reasons to add to the experience.

I have been caged by women several times. It was always a fantasy but not so much fun when you are in one. It is humiliating and very uncomfortable.

Sorry you had negative experiences with it. Were you at least able to get some emphatic pleasure return from them,or were they in a punishment mode?

The Man prefers me accessible. If I'm locked away, then he can't just reach out and fondle, spank etc.

For us, immobilization is better done with bondage.

Boredom. I noticed boredom in the slave after the new quickly wore off. Its one of those things that might seem better in fantasy for many people. Slaves that I have kept didnt try to hide being naked for long. Because of the aforementioned boredom, they can make effective punishment devices. Lifestyle version of a time-out.
