Status: offline 		I'm wondering if anybody out there has the where with all to take ownership of Collarspace.com and return it to its originally glory as a real bdsm site. Yes CS is owned by GoDaddy.com a corporate entity who has no interest in BDSM of the lifestyle. They have no interest other than collecting advertising dollars. They do not provide technical support as some of the functions no longer work. They have no interest in filtering out scammers who take money from innocent fools and waste out time.
Is there any person or group of persons who want to provide a quality product more than just the financial incentives?

Status: offline 		the registry is godaddy. it isnt owned by them. You cannot offer to buy it off godaddy, anymore than you can offer to buy Pawn and Loan LLC off of the State of MN corporate aka licensing division in Commerce, sucessfully.

Godaddy doesn't own this website. They host the server for it.

Please go buy a copy of "Internet for Dummies" and read the chapter on domain registrars.

Status: offline 		I joined here not long after it opened (Leonidas without the 104). Was part of the volunteer staff for a while. Used to be very active on the forums. It is a shame whats happened to it. But, even with a 12 year old interface and features that dont work anymore, it still gets as much traffic as any lifestyle site out there. Id invest time and money into fixing it up, but I dont think the owners have any interest in that.

Godaddy doesn't own this website. They host the server for it.

The actually CollarSpace/Chat servers are housed at darkgrove.com in Milpitas, CA.
The DNS is on cloudflare.com
. . . and GoDaddy is the domain name registrar that tells ICANN where the DNS is found.

The site is owned by a regular ol' guy.
