Senator John McCain says it's time to let an independent panel take over the investigation into Russia's ties to Trump and the election. From The Hill: "It's a bizarre situation, and what I think, the reason why I'm calling for this select committee or a special committee, is I think that this back-and-forth and what the American people have found out so far that no longer does the Congress have credibility to handle this alone," McCain told MSNBC's Greta Van Susteren. Congress has little credibility period but we need for dems to pounce on this but my also need at a couple other repubs too. Which may like asking for 3 wisemen from the repubs to step up. Oh ok, 3 repubs with at least a modicum of integrity.

At some point, at least some GOP must recognize that tying their fate to Trump's is self-destructive.
