Look at the source. They are a bunch of gun control freaks to start with. They think only politicians and police should have guns. What would you expect ?

I remember reading about a guy who got stopped in Connecticut just because he had a CCW in another state and they tore his car apart. He did not bring any guns but they would not believe him. They detained him and his family for hours at the side of the road where they went through their underwear n shit. Didn't find anything of course, but they don't clean up their mess.

I would like to see what would happen in DC. They busted a POLITICIAN for having a spent round. No gun or anything. And somehow they got a search warrant for his house in Virginia. We are talking a politician here, not some average Joe.

In Colorado, which has changed its laws quite a bit now, another politician was busted with a gun. The judge said "There will be no mention of the second amendment at this trial". Justified it because it is a "Home rule state", whatever that means. That they are exempt from the Constitution ?

Here in Cleveland, a city councilman's house got robbed. He wasn't there but his Wife discovered it and called the cops. As they are asking what was taken she goes and looks for the gun and finds it. She is like "Thank god they didn't take that" and then they arrested her for it.

I agree that different areas of the country need different laws. But the Constitution must prevail. And we might not like the fact that now they fuck with people who refuse to bake a cake for Gay couples, you have to take the good with the bad. That means they can open up a mosque next door to your house.

Speaking of which, I read somewhere that somewhere they made it illegal to have religious meetings in your own house. How the fuck could any politician be so ignorant of the Constitution to pass something like that ?

And of course don't forget the old geezers in Florida arrested for gambling because they were playing pinochle for a penny a point. First of all, who the fuck are they to tell us we can't gamble ? And then they run state lotteries. Buncha shit if you ask me.

I say fukum. I do whatever I want and if they bust me for some dumb shit I vow not to pay any fines. Put me in jail forever.

I remember driving (riding) across country a long time ago. Probably passed jlf's house... You always had a gun under the driver's seat. In fact many people back then had guns in the glove box. But hardly anyone shot anyone. Why is that ? Did people have respect for each other back then or something ? Did we have less trustees of modern chemistry ? It wasn't an issue. If you got stopped out of state they didn't automatically search your car. In fact that used to require a warrant.

This should not be an issue, and like you said, if you got a CCW you are not a criminal. In fact you probably passed a stricter background check than the cop stopping you.

That's progress.

Here you pass the same background check as the cop.
