It appear to have some sort of verification now.

I click I Am Not A Robot and get a green check mark

Sometimes it brings up the "Pick all photos with Signs" etc.

I do that.

NOTHING happens.

Sometimes it brings up more photos to pick.

But it never goes anywhere, just resets to the I Am Not a Robot page.

I "skip and log in as guest" and I choose to log in via Facebook.

IT NEVER CONNECTS TO FACEBOOK.

Please advise.

Try scanning your computer for virus/trojans? The chatrooms here do not have anything like that, so I'm suspecting your web browser got infected with a hijack trojan.

I have the same issue, regardless of device.

AND I AGREE WITH CASTEELE, don't sign in using Facebook! That doesn't sound right at all.

The only way I found to enter any chatroom was to read the fine print one day:

"Please be patient while the chatrooms are loading as this can take a minute or two." (but they never load)

"To connect with dedicated IRC clients such as mIRC use the following login information:
Server: chat.collarspace.com, port: 7000"

(It then gives some personalized user information & a password)

Maybe try that.

I did use TinyChat once & navigated to the collarspace room there (without using any of the server info listed above), but I got the feeling it wasn't the official chatroom.

But who knows, maybe it was.

I did it again. Read the post and just had to try out the chat rooms even though I don't chat in them. Got right into them without picking pictures. Have never used Facebook for any log in. You have something wrong with your computer.

I'm using and IRC client. funny thing is, it was working last week and then around thursday or friday it stopped working. I cant get in with IRC client nor web browser. but I can get to other IRC chat servers, so I'm reluctant to say the problem is on My end.

I forgot how to use MIRC 15 years ago.

1. Are you using TOR?
2. I am on Chrome(no java) soo two tics whilst I fire up Firefox

Okay I got in just fine on Firefox 100 people in the main room(lobby) and asked if anyone had any problems today - no-one reported having probs

Its weird that IRC client stopped working. I'll try FF and if I get in, I'll ask anyone about it

I forget how IRC clients work - you could try firefox?

Nick: WickedsDesire, Password: wafffle

Any of that changed recently anyone?

But if more than one person is suddenly having issues then there is a problem.

The chatrooms here are not really set up for SSL, nor are we prepared to provide support for anything other than the site's own webchat, and mIRC. There's too many external clients these days that do all sorts of funky things which makes it too difficult for us to provide support.

Seems logical - I am out of touch with what clients are out there and no-one mentioned theirs but they should all be able to default to java - and it would appear MIRC - which i have totally forgot how to work and setup.

MIRC is free - or were/are there free versions?

I have had a similar issue with video chat. There is Captcha verification required which seems benign but then it hangs. If I access as "guest" it asks to link to my Twitter or Facebook which seems a "feature" of Tinychat. The interface comes up and indicates that I'm present with my Twitter account name but does not allow participation.

Also trying accessing via Tinychat on the same computer and the directory there provides no way I can discern to find "Collarspace".
