Difficult one too answer I dont partake in drugs
Crossing the road can go wrong and bathing with an electric toaster - there have been a handful of cases like that in the UK last few years - well more off a breath play variety

Drugs and bondage certainly don't mix.
Bondage for beginners 1.01

Neither does going to sleep whilst your partner is in very restrictive bondage. I rather think that crossed the "safe" line in "safe sane consensual" I think people get comfortable in dangerous situations one bad habit at a time, and get so used to it they no longer see the danger. Shame.

I thought the couple of cases that turned up were some idiot using an ipad that's on charge in the bath, rather than bathing with a toaster?

Bondage can be dangerous ... PERIOD .... Other factors can increase that danger, but stupidity is #1 on the list.

Stupidity is always dangerous, whether you're doing something bondage-y or not, though.

This is basic common sense 101. I wouldn't want to be tied up by someone who is intoxicated nor would I want to be intoxicated in a situation like that either.
