Umm.....unless you can fly like Superman, you can't "serve" him if you aren't in front of him. On the other hand, if you behave as if he was, you are serving the ideal of him. Not as satisfying for him, but good for you. and as a human being, I would think he would want you to enjoy your vacation and come back refreshed.

You'll have to excuse me. This whole 'two week' idea just isn't a big deal to me. Let me explain myself. I've been a military wife for fifteen years. Two whole weeks is like sneezing to me. I'd have traded any of those four, separate, year long deployments for some kind of two week vacation. If you are pissing your pants over not being in the presence of your S/O for a whole dang fourteen days, I'm going to tell you to grow the hell up. You are (supposedly) a responsible adult. You don't need other people to tell you how to serve while you're away. You already know. I highly doubt you really needed other people to tell you this.

Look at the stars, etc. (Please try to avoid things that would land you in jail. Orange really isn't the new black.) Point is, a vacation or time away from a partner, doesn't mean just because they aren't in the same room with you, doesn't mean you are unpartnered in some way.
