Then you and Bozo are both idiots, inventing a ridiculous spin.

Question: Which of those countries on that graphic are our "enemies"?

Take your time. In the interest of academic research and all.

think of this as an academic challenge. there is nothing you just wrote there that contradicts how bosco interpreted the poll.

The article explicitly states:

quote:

some of the steepest declines in U.S. image are found among long-standing allies.

You're so lazy you don't even want to scan the article, but as a rule-- if Bosco is posting, he's probably wrong.

Power is the wrong word I think... influence or leadership would be better. Now and for the foreseeable future the US will still be the proverbial Bull in a China shop and you would not want to upset the Bull... The power will still be there and need to be considered and feared even if not as influential in world issues.

Every empire in history has found itself unable to sustain its huge borders (literal as well as metaphorical) ultimately.

As we go it alone, we head off into history, leaving the present to others.

You are of course right... I just don't think now we are at that point.... I hope.

400 years ago Portugal and the Netherlands were world powers. China and Japan were isolated countries far away. The US was a British colony. Africa was dominated by the The Oyo Empire, Benin Empire, Kaabu Empire, and Ashanti Empire.

Things change in a century.

I see you're still confusing the future with the past. Reading comprehension has never been your thing.

400 years ago Portugal and the Netherlands were world powers. China and Japan were isolated countries far away. The US was a British colony. Africa was dominated by the The Oyo Empire, Benin Empire, Kaabu Empire, and Ashanti Empire.

All of those things happened in the past.

Things change in a century.
