There are two rooms in my home that are to rooms that are my private domain.

One is my workroom/radio shack and the other is of course my bedroom.

Now, my niece is staying with a friend of hers that has a printer that will print on card stock, so today she came over and gave me a couple of unique signs for my doors or over my desk.

For my workroom:

Door:

Here be dragons
(Especially if he has not had coffee yet)

For my desk:

If I have nothing nice to say, I obviously have not had my coffee yet.


For my bedroom door:

Warning, the occupant is not a morning person, approach with coffee and caution.

But the best one she has, which my sister has declared to be inappropriate for public display:

The dragon beyond will not turn down a virgin sacrifice, but he would prefer women with some experience.

When I did marine mammal necropsies, I had a sign on the door of the lab that had a picture of a vulture and said "Abandon Hope all ye who enter this accursed portal.?

For the front door I have a (very loud) cast iron bell with a rustic sign below it that says,
"Ring bell. If no answer, PULL WEEDS."

One morning two "little old lady" Jehovah's Witnesses rang the bell. When I opened the door they were back-to me, admiring my garden. One of them turned to me and said, we were just saying how beautiful your garden is, then we saw your sign and we were thinking, "Well, that explains it!"

Haha...actually one of my farm slaves had weeded and tidied it all up the previous day. :D

All kinds of weird things have been happening lately with posts. Posts disappear, the only evidence they existed being quoted by someone else or the poster wondering where his post was, yet no way to tell where the missing post should have been, as posts are numbered and there were no missing numbers.

I'm also seeing A LOT of incidences where posts seem to be edited but the "edited by" tag is missing. Posts changing after being posted.

Weird.

To me that sounds like a very fascinating career (although in reality I bet it is depressing at times).
