I wouldn't bet on it: people have been prosecuted for assault (or even GBH in at least one case where the recipient was scarred) over consensual whippings which didn't involve transporting anybody over a state line.

Consent doesn't make it legal.

Paying for someone in a context of personal ownership and/or implied sexual privileges is illegal. A sport's team can technically buy out a sportsman's contract from another team but even that is not personal ownership.

Maybe you could get onto ebay and demand a refund from the seller because they didn't arrive? I think you still have a couple of months leeway to open a case after the auction's over, and if it's down on the website that you never got the delivery, that'll put Liam off you trail...
