People, have you seen the shit that has gone on through out the history of humanity by people who are 'mentally stable?'

Mentally stable people have started wars, invented slavery, racism, ethnic cleansing and countless other things.

This begs the question:

Why would anyone want to hang out with someone 'mentally stable?'

Crazy people have invented such things as:

Bobsled racing
Rodeo
Water skiing
Snow Skiing
Surfing (mentally unstable or idiots invented the short board)
The 66-71 muscle cars
sky diving
WHISKEY
water balloons

and countless other things.

By the way, crazy is not to be construed as to mean insane, psychotic, sociopathoc etc.

You could stand for the presidency instead? Mental instability seems to be an asset for that at the moment.

As far as I can tell, most people who claim to be stable simply haven't ever spoken honestly to a therapist or psychiatrist. They assume not having been diagnosed means they're stable.

In actuality, the folks who get diagnosed and treated are the only truly stable ones.

It's like the ones who say their parents beat the crap out of them and they've turned out fine so they should feel free abusing their kids. The fact that they've been divorced four times, keep losing jobs because they're too drunk to show up. No, you're not fine. You're too deep in denial to face facts.

I've always liked Terry Gilliam's line line (which I think he might have got from Tom Stoppard) myself: his livelihood is dependent on his neuroses and the last thing he wants is any of them fixing.

I used to know somebody who had a mental stable: it was a bit like Sherlock's Mind Palace, but with more horses...
