optimalchannel -> Search profile problem (9/23/2017 1:45:32 PM)

This has been a problem anytime I've joined/re-joined CS. No matter how wide the parameteers I input for a search of profiles there are no results. Now if I log out and search then I get results. My account is new but it is validated. It seems to have worked intermittently in the past. What am I doing wrong? The fact that I do get results when I'm not actually logged in but not when I am is baffling me.
TIA

The site is fucked.

No kidding. There is a major malfunction in the database server and it needs to be overhauled. Ya get's what ya's paid for I guess.

all I can suggest is using the clear button. I use search to restrict gender orientation only, and it works for me. Lucky chap that I am :-)

I've tried that and nada. The only input that gives a list of results is if I enter a username then I get a listing of users with that name as an element of their own.

Oh, before anyone suggests that it's due to my not having a profile of my own, I do under a different name. Collarchat wouldn't allow me to get into it with that username so I had to create a separate on. Fun all round.

Your comment about only using it for gender proved to be invaluable. I first removed everything then added gender. Boom, a list of members. From there I built up the search one element at a time and it worked. One thing I did notice is that putting in any distance value causes it to generate null results. Thanks.

Yay, I was actually helpful. Cheers mate. :-)
