Every now and then I see the highlight that tells me I have new mail, but if I refresh the page/go to another/enter the mailbox, there's nothing there. It's like I'm either getting false alerts or the messages are vanishing before I can see them.

Are you viewing a profile when that happens? If so check the upper right corner to see if it has you logged in under your own screen name. If not press the "Update Notes" button on the profile you are viewing. The mail notification light will likely go out and you'll be logged in as yourself.

See the "I've got a problem that should terrify everyone " thread for reasons why this might be happening, its not that you're logged in as someone else, you're just seeing the view that they saw (IMHO)

I'm having a different problem with the mail. It seems like when I send out a message to someone it sends the message 3 or 4 times. Has anyone else having this issue. It seems to only happen when I'm using my phone to send the messages.
