Bounty has used "comrades" 300 times since last june..

besides the fact that ive explained numerous times the thinking behind that (oh wait, does that mean i had an "original thought?") calling a spade a spade is helpful.

how about owning it or getting over it.

The pitch of their mad howling and screeching is a direct indicator when you are over the target

Wow! bounty invented the word comrades! I had no idea!

How...creative, insightful, original. A true prophet, that one!

So, who are you addressing in this post, leftists or liberals, because they are not the same thing.

Bar in mind you're talking to somebody who thinks that the hard right leaning Hilary Clinton is a lefty because she belongs to the other (right wing) big political party not the one that gave el presidente his nomination to stand for appointment by the electoral college.
Not a trumptooner = leftist/liberal. That came as a shock to Sorebutt McCain and Jeb Bush, I'll bet...

Hillary almost dropping out of high school to promote Barry Goldwater in 1964. She managed to graduate in any case.

If that doesn't mark Barry Goldwater as a Marxist, I don't know what else would.

"oh no, comrade!"

What an unmitigated fuckwit the OP is.

and like so much of humor, its funny because there are (large) elements of truth to it.

I knew this was satire because the editors announced it so at the top of the column. I knew this was lousy satire because the editors felt the need to also announce it at the top of the column. They were correct in both cases.

Senator Dianne Feinstein is 112 years old. Congress woman Nancy Pelosi is 105 years old. Are these the large elements of truth you refer to? Really? You find that funny? Who is the "us" who spit on John McCain when he returned from Vietnam? Would that be the dodger who claimed exemption for an ingrown toenail? Would that be the John McCain who is stricken with terminal brain cancer? What is funny about that?

There is satire and then there is effective satire. Effective satire confronts the conceits and foibles of those who are in power. Never a more impotent and lusterless gathering of power have I seen described anywhere than in this piece. Furthermore, the juvenile piece of shit embedded in the article is beneath feeble as satire. When the OP understands the nature of effective satire and when he has an example to share with us he should return and let us read it. He can at least pretend he understands the genre. The sample used underlines his ignorance. Just awful.

Just thinking, the term and concept of a "Town Hall" isn't applicable to states that came up through the territorial government system. If the population is large enough to incorporate, you may have a "City Hall". But the functional unit is the "county" and you go to the County Court House.

A "damn yankee" (the ones who come south and stay) friend came over for barbecue a bit after they had moved south. Talking with some other friends from out in the boonies the alcohol lubricated conversation veered into politics. My damn yankee buddy kept asking, "Without a town hall, where do you caucus." I was just grinning like crazy because none of my rural acquaintances had a foggy clue what a "caucus" was and it sounded like a disease your livestock got.
Caucus is a totally regional northeastern thing. State governments organized on the territorial system have elections and referendums and petitions to get on the ballot. It is funny when you petition to get someone on the ballot for a county office without telling them. <grin>

Leftist trash have a habit of always letting you know whenever you're directly over the target

What's funny about this is you are always so far off target that you make yourself and the right look bad.
