The youtube thing exampled a lot of musical minor thirds in the first few demonstrations, but was wrong about which tone vs. key half the time. After that, there were examples of a second, a major third, a fifth, etc. If you want to say that you are tired of all the "woah-oh-woah-oh" stuff all the time (like I am) then just say so. At least, I might be tired of it if I were actually stupid enough to listen to it in the first place for more than five seconds. What are you doing to yourself? The essence of the matter is that the A&R guys are hired to make money for the record label, and they will stuff as much "woah-oh-woah-oh' into our face as they possibly can till the next more annoying thing comes along, just like they did with disco. That's right; the few "alternative radio" stations were gobbled up by some conglomerate or another in the early '70s, hence drek like Foreigner (Feels Like the first Time), or the abominable Styx, etc., so then no wonder even worse disco had such an easy in. The foundation for "woah-oh-woah-oh" was lain long ago. Still, valiant efforts were made in the '80s and '90s to right a wrong in pop music. The trick is to be a good babysitter and let the coming generation figure out on their own how FOS all the "woah-oh-woah-oh" is not music. Not going to happen tomorrow, get used to it.
