This would be an example of how you could have made it good criticism; I find your OPs poorly thought out, if only you had worded it this way “….” or this way “….” I think you could have gotten better results. You see this would not be insulting but good constructive criticism.

<FR> I've thought about this a lot and while I don't enjoy being on this thread again, I don't feel ok about a miscommunication/misinterpretation that was based on something I said. I said something a few pages back that didn't go well. I used the expression "work with" kids (aka non adults) that was read in another way that I intended. I didn't mean it in the sense of an adult being the teacher, instructor, or something of the like. Due to the framing of the original post, I made a mistake to use the term 'work with' in relation to my interpretation to mean "co-workers". If at any time this has confused anyone, I am deeply sorry.
