SALAFPARDAA -> spammer impossible to report or block (12/6/2017 2:43:19 AM)

Hello,

I am here to report a strange issue: I receive regularly spam messages from the member called carvemi1978 .
Here comes the funny part: he seems to have somehow hacked the website, because if you try to click on anything once you are on his message, it gets automatically deleted and a sex website window opens.
Since no button responds, it is impossible to report or block this guy. Also impossible to go on his profile and block him/report him from there because it is marked as "inactive".
It is not a matter of navigator, OS or machine: I tried different PCs, IE, firefox, chrome, safari...All have the same issue. Even from a smartphone or a tablet, it is impossible to block or report this a**hole.
And he is very active for an inactive guy, he sends me spam messages a few minutes after I log in.
I reported that matter to technical support, but of course they ignored it.

Got exactly the same Problem
Here a screenshot, you can see there is no "Little Hand" where you are supposed to be able to click, just "arrows" making it non-clickable

But if you still try to click, the message gets deleted and a sex Website window opens on the left

I've gotten the very same mails but with two different user names. First time I was stupid and did click it. Second time I deleted and reported it as spam before it was opened.

How do you report it as spam without opening it? I can only select "check all" , "uncheck all", "deleted checked", "save checked".

Sorry, I said that wrong. I marked it as spam before opening the link.

Yes, so you are not confronted with the same problem: with this specific guy, you cannot use any website functionnality, he somehow hacked the system.

You don't have the "deleted unread" option?

This happened to me, about a month ago. I think I can help.

When you click on these e-mails, it runs a java script where, even if you subsequently delete them, they come back, the next time you refresh or log on.

I found a way to defeat them, but one must be vigilant. ANY sender you don't recognize, do the "hover trick". Because of the way they site is set up, the code will appear with the hover. Even if there's no code you can see (look for {} braces), be VERY wary of the message, itself. Why wouldn't someone who "found" you, identify themselves to you, in the first couple of lines? I think the hover allows four lines of text.

That doesn't solve this current issue, but I know how to do that, too. It may be a bit painful, but it will work.

You have to delete - not only the offensive email, but the - last "legitimate" email you got before the offensive one. You have to delete them both, at the same time (check both and delete all checked mail).

That's what worked for me.

Be careful which mails you click on. It's not like this site is paying attention to cyber-hacks, lately!

Michael
