That obviously makes it impossible for any justice to come in the case at all.

So it's left to be tried in the media.

Yep. Unfortunately. I think the closest that any kind of Truth could be reached is if there is a Senate ethics probe, and both the yearbook and the graduation card from another woman who came forward are analyzed. Moore denies (now) having ever known either of them.

And I think that he will be elected, which sickens me. He was unfit before this, but now even more so.

Yet many of the voters of Alabama see all these accusations from so long ago as media interference in their election. And then pundits badmouth them as voters and humans.

I like everything I know about Moore's opponent in the race (which isn't his name at the moment lol). He's a strong Democrat candidate. But I don't think Alabama voters with convictions opposing abortion could bring themselves to vote for him easily.

The polls have been too close to call last I saw. But turnout is what will matter. There may be Republican voters that simply stay home, rather than face that choice at all. We'll find out Tuesday night.

I asked a cousin from Alabama about the issue.

"It'is like Patton. He may be an asshole son of a bitch but he is OUR asshole son of a bitch. Removing the outsider noses from our business would be muchly appreciated."

If it hasn't grabbed national attention and had so many outsiders get involved, I think it would have gone differently. For one thing, I think that Luther Strange would have won the Republican primary if Bannon hasn't gotten involved. Strange would have easily beaten the Democrat candidate.
