Have you considered a gold or silver omega-style necklace? They are available in different sizes, so if you get one close to your own neck size, it can pass as a collar, but still look vanilla.

How about a necklace with a heart pendant?

Although these sites probably won't interest you due to your location, I'm including them for people in the US:

Collars are in the eyes of the beholder... you wouldn't believe how many emails I get telling me that they love the collar in my photo.  Is it a collar?

Google for chokers.

Here's a few.  My favorite is still Eternity Collars, but that's just my opinion.

Maybe think outside the box on what exactly a collar is.  A collar that is not used for play purposes is simply a symbol of the relationship.  It can be anything you want it to be.  A brooch, a necklace, ring, belt, toe ring, ankle bracelet, bracelet, piercing, etc.

If you are looking for specifically something that goes around the neck I'd stop searching for "collars" and do a search on necklaces and look at the various items that are choker style.  Good luck

As has already been said, a choker is an option.

Just as the symbolism of the relationship is placed on the item, how it feels around one's neck is also symbollic depending on one's interpretation. For this reason a few of the people I know that live the lifestyle roughly 24/7 state that they enjoy the comfort of the choker and the tightness is a constant reminder for them of their relationship and chosen path.

Madame S in San Francisco has some very nice dress collars, both leather and metal. They're not all on the web site; give them a call.

Some Dominants like to use slave bells for a "public/dress" display of ownership.

I like pretty much any of the "necklace" options on this site's links:  http://www.boccia.com/necklaces2.html

If I am ever alone again, I'm begging your collar next

Edited to add: I just browsed through their catalogue and there are actually some really cool options in it.  Here I thought you were being facetious, but wow, I see some create collar ideas.

Absolutely not.  I know there are plenty of "high priced" kink-centric collars out there, but when you want a collar you can wear anywhere, that you want to be a symbol of your lifetime relationship, Tiffany's really is the best and only choice IMO.

Not that I think a relationship has to spend oodles of money on its symbols, but I do wonder at the creativity and understanding people put into collars.  I think if it were the social norm for ALL collars to be platinum plated, you'd see far fewer doms ready to lasso someone up so fast.

Indeed.  I saw some wonderful "collars" on that site for exactly what Master paid for mine.  And it wasn't anything way out of league, either (see the link I posted above).

Thank you.     No, it's not a wedding dress, though I suppose it could be worn as one.  It is merely a simple, fitted cocktail dress of cream silk; the pearl choker is so elaborate that the dress needed to be as plain as possible.  *laughs*  Even naked, the necklace makes me look too dressed up for just about anywhere.

www.novica.com is a place that you can get beautiful choker type necklaces which can be worn everyday AND they benefit people in developing nations who make them.  Instead of being paid minimally, Novica pays them a high percentage of their actual selling price.  Where else can you help the world and get a beautiful symbol of your submission!
