Chaingang -> Breast Lift (8/29/2006 6:07:32 PM)

The other boob thread got me thinking about support, age, gravity, etc - so I decided to look up some pics of the breast lift process. Maybe it's just me, but I don't see much difference in this one particular case...

Before:
http://www.changesplasticsurgery.com/media/cases/b_lift/1.jpg
After:
http://www.changesplasticsurgery.com/media/cases/b_lift/2.jpg

To me the woman goes from being natural looking to so nearly symmetrical and "perfect" that it's almost weird. Keep in mind that the procedure normally requires the removal and replacement of the nipples (severing all nerves I would think) and a kind of a t-shaped cut under each breast (which is that incision you see healing in the second image). But why bother? If you click backwards and forward between the two pics in your browser you will see what I mean - each picture has its good and bad points. The woman should have saved herself the money, hassle, and risk to her health.

I think I honestly prefer the before pic. What do others think?

I see very little difference, the quality of the pics makes the before look better.  In regard to the breasts I truly do not see the diff other than the scars.

Mind you that is one of the reasons I tell people I have my nipples pierced, when they get too saggy I will hang a chain on them and have it up around my neck to keep them perky   [sm=shake.gif]

I see a huge diffrence the before looks way better than the after boob job.

As a breast reduction patient, going from a JJ cup to a D cup   ... a reduction of seven pounds (think the size of a new born baby... I see a HUGE difference.

She also had a mini-tummy tuck. and I can bet dollars to donuts, she feels much better and is less critical of herself.

DIY Breast Lifts

Version 1: Attach nipple clips and join the clips with cord passed behing the neck and of a suitable length to keep Breasts in an uplifted possition.

Version 2: (Advanced): Replace the Nipple Clips with suitably sized and debarbed fish hooks and tie off and adjust as in Version 1.

Comments: Version 1 is excelent for short term breast lifts but clips will need replacing as they wear out. Version 2 is preferable for the lont term and has the added advantage that the pioercinbg of the nipples gives aditional pain for pain sluts. the disadvantage is the exploring hands, tongues or lips can become impaled by the barbless hooks and ruin the moment and possible errection...

I THOUGHT so!

redpetals -> RE: Breast Lift (8/29/2006 6:39:12 PM)

the "after" breasts look smaller and "mutilated"
before she paid someone to mutilate them they looked warm and inviting.
i hope this woman does not  read these posts
however you asked..and i think its a rather sad  testament to our society that this woman
found fault  with her natural breasts.
i understand the need she felt to make herself better..
but what is she going to do the rest of her life?
will she have pubic hair as eyebrows at ninety?
does anyone here see anything wrong with the before breasts?

juliaoceania -> RE: Breast Lift (8/29/2006 6:40:14 PM)

I thought she looked better before, but I am one of those few women that thinks that natural is almost always better unless there is some deformity or breast cancer caused an appearance problem. I just think most women have beautiful breasts without having implants and whatnot

I had considered this surgery before I had my son because I did not like the shape of my breasts prior to having him, breast feeding actually improved the shape and made them fuller.

I guess people should do what makes them happy and feel good about themselves at the end of the day

IronBear -> RE: Breast Lift (8/29/2006 6:48:24 PM)

A case comes to mind where a woman in her twenties and the mother of one had been refused urgent treatment to have her breasts reduced. As part of the medica pannel (as a Psychologise and her counsellor) I and my fellow members had to use the courts to force the health department and state government to agree to her being priortised as a medically urgent operation case. the Operation wass successfull and now she is pain free.. her problem with her natural breasts? They were so large and heavy that they were causing medical problems with her back and it became too painfull to walk or stand for more that 30 minutes at a time even with the best available bras to support her.  Ergo, natural and God given is not always the best..

Being a woman that is far too large for comfort, given the $$ I would certainly have surgery, in a heartbeat!

My health insurance paid 100% of the breast reduction.  Why? ... head aches, back aches, numbness in arms caused by bra straps.  I know of cases where all those symptoms were not needed.  Do not let age change your mind.  I know of women in their 60's getting a reduction and the quality of their life has improved.

I walked out of the surgical suite taller and straighter than I did since before my 20's.  I have no headaches, backaches and I don't have to pay $50.00+ for a bra... I can get my bras at WalMart <grins big>

NeedToUseYou -> RE: Breast Lift (8/29/2006 8:33:11 PM)

Definately the before pic, was much nicer. I didn't see anything wrong with them to begin with. What the hell?

WhiplashGirlChld -> RE: Breast Lift (8/29/2006 8:43:22 PM)

I love my tits, and would not have a reduction, but they also cause me no particular discomfort.  I have met some women with reductions and enlargements that looked and felt wonderful.  Good for them.  I like the before picture better - the scarring is ugly.  But. if she's happy, good for her.

Emperor1956 -> RE: Breast Lift (8/29/2006 8:52:48 PM)

IB:  I've represented women with similar issues in the USA.  If the patient can document the problems, most insurers will pay for it.  As ThatLilBrat evidences (just one testimonial, of course), it can greatly improve a woman's health and outlook.

To the thread:  evaluating the necessity of a breast reduction (or the results) based on two suspect photos is purely stupid.  If you want to make comments negative or positive, go ahead, but your comment reflects more about you than the woman involved.  Actual evaluation is done with video, dozens (if not hundreds) of photos, and sometimes, tomography.  All you are doing when you bash this woman is expressing your view of cosmetic surgery, and frankly, your view means squat -- the woman involved is the only one who's opinion should matter.

I am very interested in a reduction & breast lift.
Backaches, headaches & slight curvature of the spine are the reasons why.

If given the luxury money to spend, I absolutely plan on having a breast reduction and lift after 40.  And I'll probably work to make sure I have the money.

Due to gaining weight at the wrong time and getting my large breasts very fast, I already have stretch marks on mine and don't like their shape or movement.  I'm all for making them a bit smaller and aesthetic for myself.

juliaoceania -> RE: Breast Lift (8/29/2006 9:24:20 PM)

I did not see anyone saying anything about the female involved. I think we stated an opinion about the before and after shots. My sister wants to have this surgery, and that is no skin off my nose, but I wonder if she would be better served losing weight than to get her breasts reduced. I am a human being with opinions on the topic based upon what I know of it.

Personally I would avoid this surgery if losing weight and exercise could compensate. There are women that no matter what they weigh will be extremely large, but many women that have had this done could have lost some of their chestiness by losing weight...To me surgery is a SERIOUS thing, nothing to be sneezed at. Breast augmentation with implants is another SERIOUS thing. These surgeries can have very severe complications and risks... some of which are reduced nipple sensation, infection, bad results, significant scarring, inability to breast feed.

As I said in my original post on this thread, some women have deformity issues or need to rebuld a removed breast. I have a cousin who had a "withered" breast that never grew, one side was a perfect C cup, and the other was a wizened A cup, medical insurance from her parents paid for this surgery... which in this case there is no doubt that a young lady should have this done because it is like any other deformity... it is also when plastic surgery is used in the best of ways.. but that is just my opinion

People should do what they like with their bodies, but others will have opinions about what they do too...

SirKenin -> RE: Breast Lift (8/29/2006 10:18:09 PM)

The second one looks disgusting to Me...?

twicehappy -> RE: Breast Lift (8/30/2006 6:49:17 AM)

I am fairly large, a 38ddd, but not a larger woman, mine do sag some and occasionally hurt my shoulders a lot. But i am waiting for somebody to figure out how to fill them with helium so they float, no more sag, no more aching shoulders and i get to keep my boobs.
