Well, I have a thought.

I know that collaring is a big step, and many people aren't willing to do it without a major commitment. I understand that. Kind of like getting married.

So, I have seen some discussions about training collars, and the use of them. That's wonderful, and if people want training collars, I can see what I can do about making them.

What I'm here to talk about right now is a "promise ring". More than a training collar, less than a collaring. It's a promise of a relationship between an owner and a sub/slave, one that says that they are committed to each other, but that it's still in the "dating" stages where you are finding out about each other.

It can also be used as a vanilla way of showing the commitment to each other.

I make them in sets, double strand for the top, single strand for the bottom. Leather rings, braided and matched. Currently I can make either black or dark brown.

I have some pictures up at http://blackrosefloggers.com/rings.html

Just thought I would offer them. If you can, send an approximate ring size. These stretch somewhat, but they do need to be able to fit over the fingers they are to be worn on.

I have had mine on almost constantly for a month an a half now. My wife (mistress) wears hers almost all the time. The only time I take mine off is if I'm taking a shower. So this has been imersed in water and exposed to almost everything. It's not falling apart yet. I may have to reglue it sometime in the next month, but I'm prety harsh on it. Mistress has had hers longer and it hasn't shown any signs of falling apart.

So, if you are looking for something different, vanilla, or not quite a collaring, consider these Leather Promise Rings.

hmmmm turks heads?(i think that was the name for that knot)

Yeah, it can be considered that. Basically it's a tri-braid instead of a multiple braid like a turk's head. But yes, the principal is the same.

Yeah, sorry about that. I'm in the middle of a server move thanks to the server farm being jerks. It's taking time to resolve to the new host.

It just resolved tonight, and I'm trying to fix it. Give me about 48 hours or so to make sure everyting is fixed.

Okay, more than a few issues that I'm dealing with in this move, so for now, you can find the site at http://lj.davensjournal.com/rings.html

Hopefully this will be resolved soon and I can get some sleep. [:D]

Okay, it's showing up now.

http://blackrosefloggers.com is now live again. < whew >

If you get a "we're moving" page or "no website is configured at this location", those are simply errors because not all the Internet has been notified of our move. Be patient and try again in about an hour or so. Even tually you WILL find us.
