Biotoxins are not play toys.

We have not even started to examine the effects of certain skin secretions in various ampibians.

However, I do have to agree with this poster.

Things are toxic for a reason.

Oh yes we have.  Lots of work done in this field.  It's sort of peripheral to my work, so I only pay vague attention, but I've seen a metric fuckton of papers floating by on the subject.

And NO, before anyone gets this bright idea, amphibian secretions are DEFINITELY not a safe play toy.  Most are harmless and will have no effect at all if applied topically or ingested, but the ones that are pharmacologically active tend to pack a hell of a punch.  Tetrodotoxin and bufotenine will seriously fuck you up.

Gaaah.  Next people will be wanting to play with snake venom.

As to "we," I meant the collarme message boards, Najakcharmer.

The idea of folks here discussing ways to incorporate amphibian skin secretions into their play just boggles me.  Alkaloid toxins don't make very good toys outside of the laboratory.

I bet you could have a good mindfuck scene with a harmless species though.   Too bad captive reared Dendrobates are so delicate.

I think that it should be recollected that you had most of the girls as sqwishy squashy and not many have said much about the bites.........the non-venomous writhing should suffice in the majority of cases to raise the chemical wash in her body.......

.......But fuck this pansy shit, lets just go right to the hallucinogenics for $200, Alex..........

It's so gross.

A better idea would be those toys some of us had as kids Incredible Edibles you can make all sorts of bugs and eat 'em when you are finished playing.  I don't know if they make anything like that now.

I could imagine a very good mindfuck scene here.  Not everyone knows that a captive born and bred poison arrow frog (Dendrobates) is quite nontoxic.  I'd suggest obtaining a dead specimen from a breeder for such a scene, as a live one would not do well under prolonged handling.  Additional fun might be had with a Madagascar hissing cockroach, slugs and snails of various sorts and properly identified frogs that are known not to have toxic secretions.  Emphasis here on properly identified.

I recall a very amusing mindfuck scene that involved a locked rattlesnake cage (that actually remained locked), a blindfolded subject in bondage, and a harmless snake that was appropriately positioned on said subject.

Gross doesn't boggle me.  Playing with poison does.  Kind of like people talking about how much fun they could have in a scene with cyanide.    There's not really any good or safe way to play with toxins, venoms and anaphylaxis-inducing allergens unless it's kept strictly to mindfuck.

Biotoxins can be extremely bad news, and any type of envenomation is always something of a crap shoot.  Unpredictable medical results that can potentially include hospitalization or death do not a good play toy make.

One question; did the bugs consent to this type of play?

greetings

i know halloween is around the corner but what is this about torutre with bugs and slug i read that one another reply what can any one submissive or two or everyone tell me about this. does this do anything for you would you use snake as well? now in asaia there are snakes that stand and yes they can eat you if you small enough so would anyone like to be scared by this type of and it is huge the largest of the snake that squezze to crush you to swallon now my question is to anyone who can answer did my reply make anyone hot anf excited? because this is what is making me think thas some submissive will try anything for that scare moment that thrill i would like to trully know and i am not downing anyone but it is scary i hate snakes bugs of any kind some please anweresoh the sanke part i would think you owner would not let the snake near you but would you let it near you to scare you if you master wanted this?

mons
There'd be no need of a trip to Asia for interacting with a snake like that which you describe, mons. A trip to my living room, or bedroom is as far as i need to travel, for that.

my Owner keeps a  number of snakes (14 right now), of varying sizes, as pets. Currently we have burmese pythons, ball pythons, corn snakes, red tailed boas, and a dumeril. In size, they range from just 2 feet to 17 feet (the largest weighs in at about 80 pounds).

Many of our snakes are capable of standing (balancing the weight of their upper body upon the lower end to get a better view). All are meat eaters. None have venom. All of them are capable of  biting. Our largest can squeeze tight enough to kill a large man. All of them kill their prey by causing suffocation by squeezing. They will eat warm blooded animals and birds. Our smallest eat mice. The bigger snakes eat large rabbits, and the largest would eat a large pig or small goat, if it were made available. They are attracted to and identify a food source through the detection of scent, warmth, and movement.

To answer your questions, mons:
1. No.  It wouldn't do anything for me, to have a snake used as a torture device. i understand snakes. i know exactly what to do to make them attack, and exactly what not to do. For this reason, i'm not frightened by them.

Unless, i were covered in the scent of rabbit, or rodent, or any other meat scent that would cause a snake to strike and attempt to consume me whole, a person could not use a snake to scare me.
i handle snakes on a daily basis. They are our family pets. They are also, as of recently, the family business. We tour local public schools with our pets, and provide hands on snake education. We also do the same as entertinment for birthday parties. Our pets are also available for photo shoots, advertisment and promotional events etc.

2. Snakes do not make me hot and excited. i do, however, enjoy posing for erotic photos with them. The combination of the naked feminine form entwined with a huge beautiful snake is something for which i have an appreciation and only from an artistic viewpoint, not sexual.

3. my Owner does let them near me. They don't scare me. Upon first meeting Him, i had my reservations about snakes. They frightened me because, before i had met my Master, i knew nothing about snakes, other than what i had read or seen in horror movies etc.  He doesn't use them to scare people. my first questions back then were: Can they bite me? WILL they bite me? Have they ever bitten You or anyone else? He answered all of my questions. The answers purged me of my fear. He educates people who are open to learning about them, and helps them to overcome any associated fears.

Fears are often founded upon lack of understanding and information, and misinformation. Our largest snake could easily kill me, and our snakes can bite.... but they don't, usually*. They are handled often and have been socialised to accept human contact. They have learned that we are not a threat and we are not food.

*When a snake bites a person, 9 times out of ten, it's due to the stupidity of the handler. i have been bitten. It was my fault (for handling a snake while absent mindedly being too close to it's food source), not the snake's fault.

We have other pets besides snakes, (none of which we** are afraid of, and all of which we have handled): taurantulas, bearded dragon lizards, uromastyx lizards, different types of gecko lizards, frogs, turtles, a black labrador retriever, .... and a mean old grey cat who thinks he runs the whole place.

** "We" includes our 3 unmentionables, with the youngest being the one who decided that she absolutely adores the taurantulas. Our unmentionables have formed a great deal of affection toward all of our pets. We have had to explain to them, "No. It is NOT ok to kiss the lizards and snakes.". (salmonella risks, etc)
