Does anyone know where to get reasonabely-priced gold sub jewelry. I am allergic to silver! What I have seen in the web was in the thousands of dollars... way to much!!

A collar is what I had in mind. There are so many gorgeous collars to chose from in sterling.

Hello, I happen to be a CAD designer, that has been working on creating jewelry. If you can draw what you want, to give me a rough idea I can and will be happy to make your piece, before you get it, you will get a picture so that if there are any changes that need to be made, you know about it and they get done. Then get it cast and shipped out to you. I can do it in all types of metal, and if you want to add stones, NO PROBLEM!. Send me picture of what you want either hand drawn or computer with sizes and such, and I'll give you an estimate on what it will cost for me to do it. Hope this helps. If you want a more "traditional" look, I can recommend using an Omega style necklace. These give the appearance of being "solid" like the mediaval collars were. I got one made of solid 14k gold off ebay for about $200 a few years ago. You might check there. They come in all width of chains and as you would expect, with more gold the higher the price.

Actually, there is a site that makes gorgeous collars, and an option is having them done in gold. I think you can get one made for around $800. Let me know if this is in your price range and if so, I'll track down a link to it. best regards, fate
