They are the only surviving species in their classification in the animal kingdom, i.e. none of them have other species directly relating to them?

Edited to say: Though it is true of at least one and possibly two of the animals listed it isn't common among all 4.

Each animal is misnamed. The American buffalo is actually a bison. The pronghorn is not an antelope. The horned toad is really a lizard. And the killer whale is a dolphin. Is that it?
