Jeffrey, I agree with you, that most Gorean men aren't foolish enough to attempt to justify rape as their natural 'right.' Something overlooked by the natural right arguements are the fact that Gorean ideals (if not practice) included respect for law. There just wasn't a law against raping slaves - similar to, say, ancient Rome. Without trying to dig up a 'do slaves really exist' debate, the slaves in a Gorean community would still be protected by regional laws - whether they like it or not. Consent won't protect the men. Most states currently operate under a legal principal that 'a victim cannot consent to abuse.' This enables prosecutors to arrest and convict against the wishes of the slave in question. I mentioned that such a Gorean community would, in fact, likely be the target of 'extra' attention from local law enforcement the same way BDSM clubs and cults do. It isn't a question of if Goreans are better or worse than any other group, but rather they are simply something your average citizen, detective, or police officer doesn't know about - making it 'strange.' Another consideration, of course, is what children are exposed to - while a woman might be consenting to a beating, her 8 year old daughter cannot legally consent to watching. That alone is enough to warrent suspicion from local authorities who are - as best as they know how - are really just doing their jobs.
