Is all this commotion about little old me?????

While I appreciate the heartfelt sentiment from both sides, I'd like to add my own shit to the pile o' pennies.

I don't feel superiour to many on here, I am.

Yours,

benji

Thank you Morrigel and all others who wanted this thread to stay on track. As for my past, everyone has skeletons in their closet and anyone who says they don't is lying. While insults are stupid and non productive, I always enjoy good humor. Thanks everyone for the helpful advice. I am now armed with some great new ideas and look forward to trying them on my partner. I talked to him the last night and he knows he's in for it lol.

I do understand how that might get old.

What gets overlooked, though, is that the OP isn't the only one reading, and potentially benefiting from, the thread. As a newbie, I find it really helpful to read thoughtful, substantive replies to questions that may also have surfaced in my own musings about WIITWD. I find it a lot less helpful to watch folks battle each other, often quite nastily, over backstory I don't know.

Watching folks lace into an OP also makes me feel a lot more wary about ever posting any questions of my own, which seems to defeat the point of the message boards.

That's how it looks to this newcomer, anyway. As Sinergy always says, just me, could be wrong.

I thought this too, but it turns out I was wrong. A lot of people are telling me that threads on this forum really exist only to be pissed on by the people who have been posting here the longest.  Their moldy old squabbles are much more important than anyone else's enthusiasm for fun topics and useful information.  Who knew?

I've been domme for 18 years now and I can STILL learn something new every day from these forums and the people in the chatrooms.  I treasure every one of the posts that teaches me something I didn't know or shows me a new way of thinking about something I thought I already understood.

Anyway...thank you for posting this.  I feel slightly less alone now.

Thank you for the perspective, dcnovice. It's an excellent point.

I would encourage you to post any questions you have, because there are plenty of us who do take them seriously and will do our best to answer with our own personal experiences, knowledge etc. You do, at times, need to learn who to weed out, but seriously, it won't take too long if you are a regular board reader. There are topics in which I have zero interest but because someone whom I respect as a poster adds their viewpoint, it will cause me to go read that thread where normally I would not. You'll find yourself with your own growing list of people whom you enjoy as well if you give it some time.

I checked my closet. No skeletons. Though it appears there have been a few boners in my past.

As for Benji, we need to keep some perspective - he's not always pissing on people's parades; he also offers insights and valuable contributions on many threads. The key with Benji is either to ignore him or piss back twice as hard, but the latter is a difficult feat to pull off. One thing is for sure, he isnt going to leave, and the more anyone picks on him, the more he will piss. He's not a bad person (or dog) though.

Its not about how long anyone has been here either, or how many posts they have - though that can lead some to become jaded and lose respect for newbies (which isnt a good thing). It isnt that he has a cheering squad either - sure he has net friends here, but then everyone does eventually. I know that because I've seen him getting the rough end at times too, from people you might think would be his cheering squad.

Above all, we must remember that most of the smart Alecs on CM are guys. Guys use what humour they have, far more readily than gals, both to impress other guys and especially to try to impress gals. I'm pretty sure that in person, Benji would be hilarious and charming company, because he is smart and witty. We also all have to bear in mind that he's still a fairly young guy, and sometimes perhaps his judgement is not what we would regard as mature, and sometimes he does get a situation badly wrong and hurts people. How many of us didnt do similar I wonder, at his age?

Generally, I agree with everything you have said, except for this last part.  My judgement aint perfect, I get stuff wrong, I hurt people, meh.  Life goes on.  Neither my problem nor up to me to fix.  But that's not because I'm young, that's because I'm human.

Anyone who does anything will, at times, do it wrong.  I will admit, I may have made a mistake somewhere in my life.  (Just when did I make it is the question)  But I am sure that in the past month, regardless of age, we have all made a similar amount of mistakes at whatever we do.

Yours,

benji

Youre right Benji - its not an age/maturity thing actually. We all fuck up sooner or later. Though I would say that as one gets older, and (except in my case) wiser, one tends to fuck up less, or at least find new ways to fuck up.

Good morning people.  Now that there seems to be a consensus about hijacking threads, reached strangely enough by hijacking this thread, please let things get back to the original topic.  Thank you.

Yes. But how do we escape this hijack?

I think we're in a bind here people.

Does anyone remember what the thread was about? Does anyone know CPR?

OP: Easy .......tell him not to escape if he wants to continue to have your attention and time.  Best thing to do to unruly guy.  .......ignore him………….it will make us so much more obedient

In final thought with this thread I would encourage others to continue to post despite seeing  sarcastic posts by some people.  No not all of us here think were horribly intelligent by making everyone else seem like a retard..

Sarcasm is just passive aggressive behavior used by people with VERY VERY pessimistic attitudes in life.  It is the lowest form of humor – its usually aimed  at being interpreted  as a rude thing by the victim.  It’s a way to judge others in a cruel manner with the use of words.   It has no purpose other than satisfying the user and those around.   It oppresses the victim but is a form of humor for the user. It’s bullying at its finest and those that use it to demonstrate their power are cruel.   It’s beneficial only to the user and others with whom is it NOT aimed at.  Humor is supposed to evoke feelings of happiness, delight, and amusement in others, but sarcasm only ridicules others.   Not all of us are pessimistic.

.....oh and LadyEllen…do you want me to break the news……:  don’t let him fool you.  he’s far from young  It’s a facade.  …I  kid....i kid... :-P  Finally…………..saying we all make mistakes and so what people get hurt everyday  is a weak excuse.  The difference between most decent people and him is that most people care – they have a conscious and DONT want to hurt others....

participants here want to contribute something positive here.  …….at least most of us…….. Nuff said.

um, maybe I'm alone in this, but for me, I don't get near the effect, when the bondage is "safe" or played. If I can get out, it's not real in my head, and much harder to fully submit and find my zone.

Maybe he feels similar and isn't trying to be an ass by showing off, but to find the release in true loss of movement. I DO NOT feel like less of a submissive just because I can't get into fake bondage as well as real. For some, it's having the ability taken away that is the trigger they're searching for, the release needed to become perfection in themselves.

I have no idea if this makes sense to anyone other than me, and if not I do apologize.

------> edited to fix spelling, sorry.

No it makes perfect sense to me. This is why I like cuffs and metal things. I can always get out of rope. I know I can do it so it doesn't flip my switch. Also, if I'm playing with someone new.....I ask for rope at first. I know I can get out. It sounds silly but if the situation turns axe murder...I have a better chance of getting away. Silly I know.

It obviously takes me a long time to trust.

Why not just go to some nice warm beach, bury houdini up to his head? The face and ears are sensitive enough for torture , and it doesn't really matter how much he flexes or stretches when being buried in sand. Besides, his mouth is then at the perfect hight for toe sucking .

Hmmmmm.

I wonder if a human sized egg timer thing could be constructed? The sand falls in from the top, progressively trapping said male until he's up to his neck - building anticipation before he's held immovable, for fun to start........

Say if  YOU ever become a mother, can I get one of them PUPPIES?

Probably not. I am very picky about who gets to take home my furry babies.

They have to be able to at least speak proper english, eh?

The thing is, as I recall, he DIDN'T have her situation wrong at all.  Sure, it came out a bit catty (er, dog should work on that) but in the end, it was spot on: what she was doing with this chap wasn't working.

It's on loan to me from Canadian Leatherman 05-06 Shawn Carroll.  He's my big brother, so it's ok if I use it.  I swear.

And threatening to call the mounties on ME, of all people (with the cop/uniform fixation) is like throwing chocolate at LaTigresse!  Bring it on, benji.
