The following is a set of basic guidelines for participation on this message board. They are as they are titled - guidelines - meaning they are presented as a guide for acceptable activity here. Users are expected to abide by all they contain, though they are not hard and fast rules, and are not inclusive of all possibility. The administration of the Collarspace.com Forum will be the final arbiters of all situations.
The statements and considerations made in the -Terms of Service: http://www.collarspace.com/personals/tos.htm notice are obviously applicable here. Keep age and the discussion of illegal activities particularly in mind.
Your choice to participate on this forum is an acceptance of its guidelines and the authority of its administration.
The primary intention of this board is to provide a forum for discussion and the exchange of ideas. Considering the natural diversity of opinion and expression, it is expected that disagreements will often occur. While debate is fine, postings of the sort generally known as "flames" is not. Participants are not expected to coddle one another, but they are expected to keep things within the realm of maturity.
This isn't a place to insult the kinks, preferences, lifestyles, etc. of others. If you don't like what another person enjoys, rest assured that there are plenty of others out there that probably don't like your activities either. Furthermore, baiting, harassment and personal attacks will not be tolerated.
Regarding the acceptability of various discussion topics - in most cases this will have to be determined based upon the essay in question, the content involved, and its particular form of presentation. Topics which are unacceptable regardless of circumstance include, but are not limited to - pedophilia, bestiality, incest involving minors, necrophilia, snuff and criminal activities.
Attempting to drive traffic to other personals or dating sites by directing users or otherwise linking to such sites is not allowed. Likewise, the spamming of advertisements of any kind will not be tolerated (the "Marketplace" and "Upcoming Events" sections are limited exceptions to this - further clarification is provided in the respective categories).
Links with URLs containing affiliate IDs posted and/or cross-posted on the forum in an attempt to profit from clicks on those links are not permitted.
Please do not post the legal name or physical address of yourself or others. If you wish to exchange such information or make inquires in this regard please do so privately. Posting of email addresses and phone numbers is permissible as long as they belong to you.
Questions regarding legal issues in reference to the BDSM scene are expected to arise from time to time. While discussion of these topics is somewhat acceptable, direct or veiled accusations against individuals is not. Keep the conversation limited to general terms and examples.
General discussion opinions expressed by individuals involved with the administration of this forum are not necessarily the opinions of Collarspace.com itself.
