anat always says 'Yes Master, You know best, of course.'
It's a good thing she looks cute with her tongue in her cheek!

Please forgive onyx for asking such a silly question, but she is new and was wondering...

Recently onyx was in a room and used the word "ulo."  A FW thought onyx was putting "vulo" and corrected her, saying that She would not want an egg in Her drink.  So onyx completed what she was doing, and then asked to speak to the FW in private.  She agreed, and She and onyx spoke for a bit, and onyx apologized for not making her text clear, but wanted to make sure she put the term for the small curved knife as opposed to the small bird used for food.  So the FW said openly that onyx had corrected Her, and that She had been wrong.

So onyx's question is this: if a Master, or a Free (FW) can be wrong (technically, as They are human), then should the slave even say anything, even if the Free misunderstood what s/he said?  She supposes her question is, should she have even said anything to the FW?

(anat here) I think most Free would appreciate knowing that they misunderstood lest they risk misunderstanding again in a public forum perhaps habitually, but it should absolutely be done privately and with the utmost tact and diplomacy. You musnt EVER be percieved to have 'corrected' a Free Person. So it sounds to me like you handled it as well as you could have.

Greetings, and thank you, anat...it is much appreciated that you see it that way.  It is good to have someone that shares the same thought on such a matter.
