No they are not the same. I say that on the basis of hear say since I've never been a woman.[:)]

I have heard that females can reach a "mini-orgasm" via other erogenous zones. Without some stimulation of the penis I can not do something similar.

Females get horny frustrated via lack of access. Guys get horny and frustrated via pain. (I'm not pierced, I've heard piercing s make it possible to be erect without pain.) No Chaste females apply ice in the morning to control their morning hard on.[:)]

You can have a "soft dry" orgasm by stimulation of the prostate. There is a lovely little toy available called an "aneros" which massages the prostate. I prefer this over my hand because my hands are small and I have a harder time keeping right on top of the prostate.
The last time I used on my submissive, it kept him on the edge of an orgasm for a good 40 minutes which was absolute torture for him. Not quite enough to go over the edge but there all the same.
