Status: offline 		* the sound of a lock is heard down the corridor, bear cautiously steps out og his cabim and peers in both directions. Seeing the coast is clear, he grabs his knapsack, a small shovel a sieve and several canteens of water and heads for the mainland. As luck would have it, bear spots a an alluvial deposit bedise the river's edge and begins digging. Bear spends several hours digging and sifting the piles of dirt, periodically he stops and removes a few glassy pebbes and stores then away. Finally he stops, packs up all the gear and makes his way back to the ship.*

Reyurning to the original digging site, bear resumes his search and begins at accumilate another large stash of rough diamonds. Coming across a clear rock about the sixe of a cantalope, bear pulls out his loupe and peers at the stone in closer detail.*  Hmmm, ahhh,  mmmm ah yesss!
* bear quickly stashes the rock in a secret pocket in his robe and shortly fills in the holes and swiftly reyurns to the ship for the last time.*

Oh well, someone grab the pina colada mix, some rum and if we hit something just dump it down my throat and if you see Leo running around here DON'T TELL ME!!! *in one corner of the room a range of equipment is set up, from saws to grindrs and polishers. For the next while, the only sound coming from bear's cabin is the constant noise of the machines. Finally the racket dies down and bear steps out into the hallways and sticks a sign on the door. <Bear's Diamond House Now Open.>

Status: offline 		*exits cabin looking crankier than usual* I ran out of Excedrin...no more rum for two weeks....eh, better make it two days.  Bear have finished cutting the diamonds yet?  I need a couple.  I think I may have figured out hoe to use them to make the lasers even more powerful. Have to set them just right so they focus the beam tigher.  Oh, hey CD...ship's still floating.  I'll take a good job scratch behind the ear if you don't mind.
