Greetings cjenny,

Gor often is misunderstood and seems harsh to those from the outside. To me that is fine because frankly Gor is harsh. Gor is not fair, it is not about equality and it is not about warm and fuzzies. Many are not cut out for many of the aspects of Gorean customs, traditions and the community but they may understand and live the philosophy. See there are many parts to Gor and they are often mixed and matched. When you take Gor in it's entirety it is vast and has many dynamics running through it. It is when these dynamics clash and cause what seems to others as strife and malice, when in fact it is working itself out in the way it should.

I am sure someone can help me with a quote from the book that is along the lines of: "Those of Earth ask why so harsh, and those of Gor ask why so easy."

Well offhand I cannot---

But since you are speaking as a man to an assembled and non-homogenous crowd---

is there any one amongst you that is a Christian (forego that I am not)

but, consider this from your bible

What?  Did you come out here for?  To see a reed shaken by the wind?

Sleepy middle of the night hello to the Goreans.

Silly dog woke me at two am.. so I am awake bah. Orion & Camerius please do not assume I know nothing of Gor. I would not be here if that were the case. Yes I have read the books and participated in many many a chat with those that follow the books. It simply is not for me however I do not have enough hubris to discount the validity it holds towards others.

My issue was the previous two pages as well as the other thread.
It degenerated into something nearly sick and that is what shocked me. I am not sure why this particular thread is still going.
Because Malkinius asked that this be closed, I would not normally post here except that I saw I was being referenced.

Please remember that my unhappiness and anger stemmed not from Gor but from what happened here in these forums.

Thankyou, time to try and sleep again..

Tal and greetings all....

This has gone way past where it should have ended. On that point I agree. It is now into abuse. It is abuse to force someone to relive abuse outside of of therapy. I am asking the moderators to please lock this thread.

Men...enough is enough. End it.

Slaves...do not continue this. End it.

angel...stay away from the forum or at least this thread until you see it locked.

Mod 11 or whomever....please shut this thread down. Thank you.

Be well all....

Malkinius

Tal,

I add my name to Malkinius' in asking this thread be shut down. Enough is enough on this thread and all other pertinant threads and it's time for all to take a few deap breaths.
