What is the implication, if they are viewing you? I mean, can't they just write you if they are interested?
It's kind of a nice idea - provided I can also maintain my own distance, control, etc. It could be kind of flattering, but what is the reason for this leap of technology, I wonder? I wonder how possibly jealous Dominants are going to take this? Probably the same way they take incoming e-mail for their sub, only less so, maybe.
Update: I just looked at the new feature. I decided I don't care if other people view me and it's just fine with me if they do. I decided to take it as a compliment. If they are curious, thats fine with me. I mean, if they're interested in me as a contact, they'll write. I read profiles all the time, and it usually means I am just wanting to see what's in their profile, for whatever reason. It's okay to do that.
I am a compulsive profile reader - just so everyone will know. It means I want to know how well some people write, and if there is anything interesting in there, and that I am incredibly nosy. Also, some people have really well-written profiles. Also, sometimes it helps if there is trouble understanding what someone means on a thread, to tell "where they are maybe coming from"etc. That's all it means, though.
I remember subs complaining that; "I says in my profile I am taken and in a relationship, and yet I get messages from Doms wanting to be with me, I wish they would stop", etc. Maybe this will lessen that occurrence? Maybe not.
