Hello pretties! Just a quick update... I spent nearly 3 weeks in Michigan with my mom. She is getting chemo every other week (until mid-fall) and when I met with her oncologist he says that he fully intends on doing a liver resection. This was good news, however, we know that if the chemo doesn't do its job, the resection will not be a possibility. She may also receive a procedure called TACE but that too depends on the progress she is making now. She will have another scan in a few weeks that will help her doctor to gauge where to go from here. Thank you everyone for your well wishes, your notes, and your prayers. The time I spent with my mom and dad was an absolute gift. I was able to take care of the house, cook, clean, and wait on them hand and foot. I spoiled them rotten and enjoyed every moment. It is difficult to see her so weak but to be honest, she looks good - much better than I had anticipated. My father continues to be amazing... supportive and absolutely committed to helping my mother in any and every way he can to beat this thing. Again my gratitude to everyone who took even a wee moment to send out a positive vibe or two. If you could find the time again, I would be most grateful. My mom is the most beautiful, loving woman I know. Much love, Cav's ally
