Where might I find arnica? I didn't see it when I checked my local CVS. I've never used it before, but have some visible bruises that must be gone within about 7 days.

Any health food store should carry it. Arnica works for some, not so much for other's. Has never done anything for me but people do swear by it.

I am one who swears by it. As sub4hire said, a health food store is your best bet. It comes in pill form and also in a cream. I would recommend getting and using both. For me it usually helps even very deep bruises to resolve in a few days time.
