Obama was hoping that Hilary would have won, mainly because he was going to concentrate on leading the charge against gerrymandering. (At least that's what I tell myself)

http://www.politico.com/story/2017/09/05/gerrymandering-lawmakers-opposed-supreme-court-242359

Gerrymandering is the ONLY way Republicans can maintain a majority in the House. (And BTW: I live in a very gerrymandered district, albeit by Democrats)

Gerrymandering (on either side) is antithetical to our Democratic Republic, as the founders designed the House of Representatives (i.e. "The People's House")

On another note:
I pray that Kasich will run as an Independent. Whether or not he has any chance of winning... At least I could vote for someone who has capability for reflective thought AND has a moral compass.

I wish them all success.

Re: Kasich. Yeah, he is a good one. Wouldn't a Sanders v Kasich campaign have been a lot better than the one you had?

That you howlers really believe that only one side is the big bad boogieman re gerrymandering only proves how totally lost you are

If you ever care to join the real world sometime, let us know.

Funny, you quoted him saying that his district was gerrymandered to favour the Democrats. Way to blow a hole in your own comment there man. Go you.

How are you enjoying your mindwash so far.

quote:

Massachusetts is more red than Tennessee is blue.

Massachusetts has not had a Republican member of Congress in 30 years.

If Massachusetts has 0 red districts, Tennessee should have 0 blue districts.

Democrats are just mad that Republicans are finally doing the same thing they have been doing for years.

Do you EVER do any critical thinking about anything?

Another idiot on X who doesn't understand voting for house members VS voting for a President. This does not refute my point in the least.

Without gerrymandering, we would not have a Republican controlled House (and would not have had one for decades)

You know that because you're in a cult.

But what if we asked nonpartisan AI, just for giggles

quote:

GROK's CONGRESSIONAL MAP: What would the MOST FAIR U.S. House map look like if we followed the Founding Fathers’ Principles?

- Apportion seats strictly by population (census)

- Draw compact, contiguous districts inside each state only

- No partisan data, no racial engineering, no weird shapes

- Prioritize whole counties & communities

RESULT: A clean map with 265-285 R to 150-170 D seats in a 50/50 nation.

Not gerrymandering - just geography.

This is what neutral, compact redistricting naturally produces.

The Founders wanted local geographic representation, not national proportional math.

No salamanders.
No tentacles.
Just logical districts.

True fairness under the Constitution isn’t forcing 50/50 seats.

It’s letting Americans vote where they actually live.

THIS MAP HONORS THE CONSTITUTION'S DESIGN.

What do you think?

I did ask nonpartisan AI, and it said I needed to create an account first.

Your moronic X source asked GROK, which came up with most ridiculous map I have ever seen. (Miles from reality)

Compared too... This?

https://x.com/libsoftiktok/status/2052832960328384531?s=20

Notice that FIVE districts originate in ONE small very blue area that is populated by federal government drones

The extreme but typical leftist-style gerrymander that Obama DIRECTLY supported.
