I can type a message while in chat, but there is no "enter" button apparent to send it. A corruption only affecting me?

You may have problems with JAVA module in the Chats We had that problem before and it was solved somewhat by changing to JAVA 6.0 from 4.0 in the Java JRE @ http://www.java.com. maybe this will help you if it is a Java problem.

Have you tried the big fat upside-down L shaped key on your keyboard? Below is a sketch I drew for you to help you on your hunt for the elusive button:

DLB, FC is refering to your enter key. which may or may not be shaped as he indicated, depending on your keyboard, mine isn't, but, i promise, you have one.
