I would just like to let everyone know that if you have any questions with the forum, functions, let me know, I have alot of experience in forums and websites so i have knowledge in that field.  I am not moderator so i can't change the fact that we can't use signatures which i seen alot of trying in the Test Forum area.

Also any non forum questions dealing with computer problems are welcome too.

P.s. if i don't know the awnser, I will find it out for you

We're not allowed to have images in our posts. We haven't had that luxury in quite a while here.
You can post links, though. That's acceptable.

Kakaroo,

Yeah I have a question but it's really more about Firefox.  How do you create an embedded link with Firefox?  I think I used to do it with cntr-k but now that goes to a google search.  I had to use IE to make one today.  Usually I'll just paste the link but sometimes they are really long or like today I didn't want the link to give away the punch line.

Thanks,
Bill

Bill,

I will be glad to help. I was working with IE and Firefox and from what I found out that ctrl + K shortcut for embedding links does not work the same for Firefox as it does for IE.  Soon as I find a shortcut for Firefox, I will let you know.

However, to embed a link for Firefox like this:
picture
All you have to do is (It is quite simple actually) type this out:
[ url=http://www.your website you want to use.com ]here you type what you want the link to be[ /url ]

Example: [ url= http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b389/kakaroo/Kakaroodoordie.jpg]imgsignature[ /url ]
Will look like this: imgsignature

Important! Do not have spaces (I only used spaces to show you the codes to use)
Do not forget to have [/url] at the end or it won't work.

I hope that this helps you, if this did not awnser your question, let me know.

Thanks,
Kakaroo

I've been searching for a shortcut for Firefox to hyperlink but with no success.  The above post does work but you can also type what you want the link to say. For example type "photobucket" highlight it and then click the "Insert Link" (Found to the right of the text color) and type the address you want the link to be.

Hope this all helps,
Kakaroo

Kakaroo,

Now you're talking!  That sounds like the way to go.  I'll give it a try.

Yeah that's almost as good as a cntrl-k.

Thanks,
Bill
