Unusual and Rare BDSM Book Memorabilia Auction
Hello,
I'm auctioning off a bit of BDSM History on eBay at the moment. My auction includes a large number of book copies, some signed, and also far rarer documents (proofs, galleys, an original manuscript, press kits, promotional materials, and more) that went into the making of Different Loving: The World of Dominance and Submission by Gloria G. Brame, William D. Brame, and Jon Jacobs.
This scholarly review of BDSM and its related fetishes was first published in 1993. It still sells today (in fact, it's now in Kindle format), slowly but steadily. It can be a kick to read the interviews in this book now, 20 years later, and see how times have changed in such a short time, but if all you want to do is read the content, I recommend obtaining a kindle version or inexpensive paperback copy. This auction is aimed at collectors.
A common question I'm getting is: Will you sell me just this one piece?
Answer: I'm sorry, but I'm not "parting this out" or selling these items piecemeal. Time doesn't permit this. If you bid, you bid on the entire lot of materials. Later, you can discard or give away the items you don't want.
This is a 10 day auction which began on Monday 2/4/13. There is no "Buy it Now" price but there is a reserve.
