Top quality 6mm, 3-ply twisted, untreated natural Jute rope supplied in 15m lengths (50ft). Available individually, or at a saving in basic 3 x 15m ropes sets and advanced 6 x 15m rope sets. Many people like to cut these down to two standard Shibari 7.5m lengths and finish them with a single knot at each end.
A lovely honey colour and lighter than the European Hemp. Since each ply is made of many smaller twists, the rope has wonderful definition and leaves beautiful clear marks. It is my personal favourite and I now use it in preference to Japanese Hemp because of its durability, low cost and looks. It can be used as is or treated for an improved feel.
