this is probably as secure as you can get without a piercing, and it's 100% secure for me. With the rubber pins, you can get a tighter fit while not cutting off circulation and the fit is customizable. getting it on is just a matter of pulling it through. From there the pins are pushed in from the outside, which means you can fit into a much smaller diameter than you ever could otherwise. Add to all that the fact that if you pull back, the pins bend inwards, closing the space further, especially when they hit a larger diameter. Of course the cage covers where the pins are inserted, so there's no backing them out unless you get the cage off.
