My husband recently started a profile on the site. It was approved, even his pic is up, and for some reason, he still can't post. When he logs onto the message boards it says he's logged in as "guest". Any ideas?

Did he do the longin at the top of forums screen and fill the profile choices there?

No. But neither did I and it still worked out for me. Am I not allowed to have more than one user per computer?
