Status: offline 		I have a large sub, over 200 lbs, sensual, erotic, she is more than wiiling to wear any style of out I would want. I want her in tight corset, breasts exposed. Does anyone know of a good web based starting point? Or, preferably, a shop in the Tampa/ St.Pete/Clearwater area that could help find, adjust, and fit one to her shape/size?

Status: offline 		Check out the "bondage gear and apparel" forum on the boards. There are several threads with costume and corset links. Most places can make corsets any size that you like.

Status: offline 		Me myself being a lovely large lady have found sites that are just wonderful for this kind of purchase. One of my favorites are www.hipsandcurves.com , if I am looking for a store Torrids is a great place to get those sizes as well. Happy hunting. Oh and never forget the power of ebay. If you are unsure of the size to get her I was told you get 3 sizes bigger than your bra in example if you are a 44 you need to get a 50 in a corset.

Corset size should be mostly based on waist and underbust measurements. If you're going for just a fashion look, go for a corset that's either your underbust measurement (I'm a 38) or just 2 inches lower than your normal waist measurement (I'm a 32).

If you're going for an actual cinching corset (which will cost more but for good reason) then either take all measurements that the designers ask for, or go for 4-6 inches lower than your normal waist measurements.

Status: offline 		Funny this subject came up today. My Partner would like me to engage in corset training. Now, I'm a tall (5'10") submissive with curves. So, I was worried both about the length and sizing not fitting a particularly tall person.

I found a site on the internet: www.absolutecorsets.com that asks for a zillion measurements so that you can have a corset made specifically for you. They tell you how to measure and what to enter in each box. Right now my Dom and I are picking out styles and colors. I am so excited about getting one that will be a constant physical reminder of him while we are apart.

If anyone else has engaged in corset training, I'd love to hear your experiences!

My partner won't let me train, fulltime or even partime, but he does let me wear corsets on occation.

I find that the Starkers training corset has a VERY good reputation for actual waist training as does anything by Wasp Creations.

I can't speak personally about them, not having one from either, but people I trust have recomended them

Status: offline 		Staylace is a good resource, but their selection is limited to a single manufacturer. While C&S makes great corsets, their selection isn't all that extensive.

Status: offline 		We've been experimenting with exactly this and we got some 'affordable' models to experiment with off Ebay.

Try there. Some vendors have sizing charts and some don't. We have 3 differant types right now and none have been an utter failure... definitely some work better than others.

We did have the best luck with the more traditional lace up, satin w/ stays sort of garmet, compared to the elastic based units. With the two elastic styles, we have just found them a little more work to get her into. For an exotic look and just fun, all were successfull!

There are even vendors on Ebay that have a nice selection of leather corsets and corset dresses, sized for big girls. I planning on making the heavier investment for a leather product once we're more familiar with just what it's all about.

We have shopped hipsncurves.com as well. They do have a good selection of lingerie but their inventory is also pretty generic once you start seeing a lot of online lingerie sites. There is a group of sites that all sell the same catalog. They are really great for garter belts, teddies and so forth.
