i was wondering if anyone knew where to get a bamboo or wood rug beater. we prefer bamboo but not looking for wire loops. i have looked on ebay to no avail and not sure if the new ones are sturdy enough for what we are intending to use them for..lol...think they are more decorative. Any help would be appreciated.

they usually have them in the import/export or rug import export places.

Check to see if there is a Caning supply shop near you. You could buy rattan, soak it in hot water and then bend it into the shape you wanted.

There was one on extreme restraints (its on my wishlist) but I don't believe it is wood or bamboo, I'd have to check.
