MrS is great...if you like to get your wallet raped. Almost $400 for a 4ft whip is crazy...no matter who made it. And that's off of their website. OP what you have to decide first is if having a leather whip is important to you and what your budget is. If leather is important to you I would go with Midwest whips because their quality is better than Tella's (at least in the last couple of years it has been), despite being a tad bit more expensive (it's worth the extra $ to make sure your whip isn't going to start falling apart on you...which I have seen and have had to repair). If you can get a used Tella more than three years old, you'll find a good one...anything newer and you're gonna over pay for the quality of leather whip you get. Axel is ok...better than Tella if ask me..other people would disagree. If leather is not important to you, I make nylon whips, so does Midwest and Noreast. Any whip maker you contact should be able to walk you through deciding what style of whip is best suited for you and what length. Understand that going through a vendor is going to cost more than going through the maker. While you will likely have to wait for the whip a little bit longer, it's your whip and not some mass produced thing that has been sitting on a shelf. boi
