I am signed on twice right now, and may have fixed my router. I FTFM (found the frickin manual).

As always there is another question, why on Vista am I not the first on the members on list but I am on the XP PC ?

What's more I had the LAN up and could access the files on the other PC for a time, but then it stopped all the sudden. I'm glad I don't get headaches because this one would be a doosie.

By george I may have done it. However I am not counting my apples until they're hatched.

Now I got a red light on the DSL modem.

Now as I am online, I am copying about 13 GB from my media PC to my laptop. This is another test to make sure I am online, and can stay that way. This Vista seems to cache alot of things, like if I click it will go to my homepage, Google. But no searches or anything will work unless I am connected to the internet or it can find some open wireless somewhere. Aggravating to say the least.

I just figure it's part of my PC education. I hear that kills people.

By George I think I got it !, after reboots and everything,

See if it works tomorrow. Murphy's law is strictly enforced around here.
